About the Opportunity

A growing real estate and infrastructure organization is seeking a Sr Business Analyst to join a highly visible analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, finance, operations, and process improvement , partnering with teams across Development, Leasing, Asset Management and Operations.

The ideal candidate is an analytically minded problem solver who is comfortable working with imperfect or complex data, identifying what matters, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights for business leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who has strong technical skills and wants significant exposure to senior leadership and business decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze large and sometimes imperfect datasets to identify trends, opportunities and actionable business insights
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools and executive-level reporting
• Use SQL and data visualization tools to extract, organize and analyze information from multiple sources
• Work with data warehouses and modern data platforms; exposure to Databricks or similar environments is highly valued
• Clean, validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Translate complex analysis into concise recommendations and presentations for senior executives
• Develop and maintain financial and operational models using Excel, Power BI and/or Python
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements and determine appropriate analytical or process solutions
• Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency and improved reporting
• Create process maps, workflows, requirements documentation and acceptance criteria
• Support projects from initial discovery and stakeholder interviews through implementation, testing and measurement
• Develop reporting and self-service analytics tools that enable business teams to make faster, data-driven decisions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related quantitative field
• Approximately 2–5 years of professional experience in business analytics, data analytics, financial analysis, real estate analytics or a related field; strong candidates with relevant internships and early-career experience will also be considered
• Experience working in real estate, infrastructure, telecommunications, asset management or another asset-intensive industry strongly preferred
• Strong Power BI skills or equivalent business intelligence/reporting experience
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort building analytical or financial models
• Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes or modern data platforms; Databricks experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to clean, organize and analyze data that may not initially be structured or complete
• Experience with process mapping, process improvement and requirements documentation
• Ability to take detailed analysis and turn it into a clear story for senior leadership
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with stakeholders across different business functions
• Curious, resourceful and comfortable asking questions to understand how a business actually operates
• Able to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ownership
